Christian Nwachukwu, the 19 year old former Golden Eaglets winger, has officially signed for English Championship side Sheffield United from Bulgarian top flight club Botev Plovdiv. The promising winger has committed to a contract that runs until 2027, with an option for a two year extension.

Nwachukwu’s transfer marks part of Sheffield United’s evolving data-driven recruitment strategy, which has seen the club explore talent in lesser known markets such as Bulgaria.
